Non Dairy Delights was born out of the desire to help other individuals and families navigate non-dairy diets with practical meals.

When my husband and I finally determined that my daughter was lactose intolerant at age 4, after switching pediatricians 3 times, we had no idea what that really entailed. Only 3% of children are diagnosed lactose intolerant before puberty.

We have discovered over time that truly non-dairy diets in the US are incredibly difficult to maintain. I wish, as a mom, that I had a blog like this when we first learned about my daughter’s eating limitations. So here I am, bringing to everyone else who might be in similar positions, the resources, encouragement, and knowledge I’ve gained over time. I truly hope for all who visit, that this site becomes a resource of meal ideas for you and/or your family.
